<z3ntu> lumag: one more thing for DP, on FP5 it works well now with 2-lane DP + 2-lane USB, but plugging in an HDMI adapter without USB (so 4-lane DP) doesn't work. My redriver driver seems to get the correct mode and does the i2c configuration for 4-lane so that part seems generally fine. And looking at schematics and datasheets there can't really be much else going wrong electrically? No random wire crossing etc should be possible/needed there

<z3ntu> ugh.. now it appears to work.. ignore for now I guess
<Leandro[m]1> <z3ntu> "lumag: one more thing for DP, on..." <- Did i understand correctly that you are working on fairphone 5 mainline?

<konradybcio> Luca Weiss: did you plug into a dsc dp monitor?
<konradybcio> i wonder how it resolves sharing the dsc core between dsi and dp

<z3ntu> konradybcio: I'm not aware of anything there.. But I tried exactly the same monitor earlier today with the same adapter and it didn't work, while the same monitor worked with my hdmi+usb dongle
<z3ntu> Leandro: Yes, Fairphone 5+4+3+2 (Fairphone 1 is technically upstream but only UART :P) and some other devices (using msm8974 and msm8226)
<z3ntu> konradybcio: Can DSC even go through an HDMI adapter to the monitor there?
pespin has joined #linux-msm
<konradybcio> i'd.. think so?
<konradybcio> probably depends on the hdmi-dp bridge inside the dongle
<aka_[m]> konradybcio: do you have nvt-ts-spi working?
Danct12 has joined #linux-msm
<konradybcio> no
<Leandro[m]1> <z3ntu> "Leandro: Yes, Fairphone 5+4+3+2..." <- Fairphone master lol
<Leandro[m]1> Didnt it like get released a few weeks ago?
<z3ntu> Also helps that my dayjob is there :D
<Leandro[m]1> HUH
<Leandro[m]1> You work with fairphone?
<aka_[m]> yea he do
<Leandro[m]1> huh
<aka_[m]> does
<aka_[m]> i believe?
<calebccff> could anyone with some devicetree schema knowledge help me out? I have this schema with conditional properties based on the compatible, but it complains about the example still with "qcom,qmi-cooling.example.dtb: cooling: 'current', 'pa', 'proc', 'skin' do not match any of the regexes: 'pinctrl-[0-9]+'"... this is the schema https://p.calebs.dev/e675f9@raw
<travmurav[m]> calebccff: I think conditionals were "funny" last time I used them - i.e. there are restrictions on what a condition can override from the "body" of the schema
<calebccff> hmm
<calebccff> I think it might be "additionalProperties: false", i replaced it with "unevaluatedProperties: false" and that seems to be what i want
<calebccff> it now fails if i add new undocumented subnodes, but doesn't complain about the valid ones
<travmurav[m]> Tho this doesn't seem to be that case at least on the first glance
<calebccff> this stuff is so dense xD
<Tooniis[m]> your messages are duplicated
<Tooniis[m]> bridge being funny again?
<travmurav[m]> calebccff: do you maybe need to add your schema into the remploteproc one?
<travmurav[m]> Mhm example fails though
<calebccff> travmurav[m]: oh yeah probably, thx for the reminder
<travmurav[m]> I guess I'm too Ill to read messages properly :(

<HappY[m]> We mean all OnePlus 9/9pro & Realme GT 2
<HappY[m]> <HappY[m]> "1000009139.jpg" <- We have exactly same issue with pmic-glink
<HappY[m]> Our charger used i2c (I am sorry mey my technical electronics terms are not currect)
<HappY[m]> omg 😰 our SDM device used Mtk charger?
