<vknecht[m]> bryanodonoghue: Hi ! finally got to try camss TPG (on msm8916 for now), but dunno how to convert/look-at the produced bin file, which according to file command is a `Targa image data - RGBA (1027-1541) 3340 x 3854 x 16 +2312 +2826 - 1-bit alpha - right`... any tip ?
<vknecht[m]> the capture with the commands you gave went like this : https://pastebin.com/wvWpBA3j
<vknecht[m]> ok got ping and green bars, from a gst-launch command
<vknecht[m]> thanks travmurav ;-)
<vknecht[m]> s/ping/pink/
<travmurav[m]> wrong ping?
<vknecht[m]> no, found that in pmos-mainline channel, from january 2022
<travmurav[m]> (I do remember playing with the tpg a while back, though with the pink/green bars but I )
<travmurav[m]> ah
<travmurav[m]> yw I guess xD
<vknecht[m]> wanted to check on 8916 before trying on 8939, for which one idol3 cam sensor was added recently (ov8858)
<bryanodonoghue> vknecht[m] you've set the CSID to output an incrementing pattern so hexdump will immediate validate or invalidate the output
<bryanodonoghue> should be 00 01 02 etc
<z3ntu> I also have some test patterns here (which are green and purple) https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Qualcomm_Camera_Subsystem I guess debayering or whatever is missing/wrong but seen this with gst-launch across all SoCs I tried
<vknecht[m]> still need some tweaking on 8939 ;-)
<konradybcio> If you close your left eye and then your right eye you can see a cat in this picture :)
<bryanodonoghue> vknecht[m] hrm is that coming out of the sensor ?
<bryanodonoghue> if you cat /proc/interrupts | grep csid you should see it increment for MIPI RX
<bryanodonoghue> `cat /proc/interrupts | grep csid `
<bryanodonoghue> BTW v excited to see 8939 do that
<vknecht[m]> that's TPG not sensor, I just copied msm8916 dts stuff as-is, but comparing the downstreams there are some little differences in clocks, and interrupt numbers too I guess
<vknecht[m]> <konradybcio> "If you close your left eye and..." <- Schrodinger's one, I guess :-)
<vknecht[m]> also getting a warn like that... (full message at <https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/nsBVrGnDHhNcIkkKCoYVvKpx>)
<vknecht[m]> so gotta double check everything

<mal> I can't seem to find a way to test watchdog, I have added the node for two qcom devices and trying to test it
