djakov, konradybcio: I noticed that we do not have sync_state enabled for several platforms, including sm8[1235]50. Do we need to fix anything on them before enabling sync_state?
<konradybcio>
ufs icc
<konradybcio>
and hooking up qup icc

<lumag>
konradybcio, ack
<lumag>
Other missing platforms are msm8916 (no interconnects used), qcs404 (same), qdu1000 (something is present) and sdm660 (something is present. And it seems I have to resend my old patch fixing indices)
<konradybcio>
660 needs more care, similar to what happened to 96
<lumag>
konradybcio, yep. But we probably won't find issues until we enable sync_state
<minecrell>
lumag: Well it's generally not a great idea unless the majority of things actually have interconnects defined. For example 8939 does have sync_state, but the dtsi only has interconnects for mdp. So every device that doesn't use mdss (or doesn't have it enabled) is extremeeeeemely slow (surprisingly it doesn't crash)
<lumag>
Re ufs icc: we have sync_state enabled on sm8450 :D
<lumag>
minecrell, yep. That's why I first wrote about sm8x50, which have pretty good icc usage.
<lumag>
In fact I was surprised that we didn't enable sync_state there.
<konradybcio>
lumag I think I even sent a patch for that some time ago
