<stintel>
saw this on my eap235-wall before it started going berserk (oom-killer all over the place)
<stintel>
which is weird. because it's now running all apps I use fine, with only 32MB of 128MB used
<stintel>
this is the 7613ben btw
<stintel>
well 46MB in use including buff/cache
<karlp>
stintel: yar, my old init scripts used oom_score_adj but I've never seen a way of doign it in procd. you can't get the pid file until too late to write it yourself either.
<stintel>
could ask dangole if he feels like implementing it, he's been working a lot on procd so probably peanuts for him
<karlp>
so far I've just gotten by having more ram on the current hardware than the old hardware :)

<nitroshift>
question for the gurus:
<nitroshift>
looking for a cheap-ish x86_x64 mini / micro board / pc to replace my existing wrt3200acm's
<\x>
theres plenty of fanless ones on aliexpress
<nitroshift>
was thinking about apu boards but was told that their cpu's are barely cutting symmetrical gigabit
<\x>
just search for "openwrt mini pc" or 'pfsense mini pc'
<nitroshift>
\x, thanks
<nitroshift>
any hint about what cpu i should look for?

just a quick heads up, i finally got around to backporting a lot of mac80211/hostapd fixes to 21.02 and updated netifd and mt76 to the latest version
<nbd>
it works well in my own tests, but i'd appreciate some testing by other people as well, and please ping me directly if i broke something :)

<hurricos>
For some reason, when I try to set up a MAC address using the nvmem device-tree implementation, the kernel responds by making the partition not appear at all
<hurricos>
OK, so whenever I refer to a NAND partition `hwinfo: partition@...` with a `&hwinfo { compatible = "nvmem-cells"; ... }`, the partition disappears from the mtd init.
