I was messing around with a self-built zfs-dkms package for ZFS 2.2, which tried to remove existing kernel package, because it already provides 'zfs-dkms'. I hit enter too soon and realized that it remove kernel packages because of this conflict.

Hi, is there a way to update 23.04 to 23.10?
<tobhe[m]>
hi Mapi, I think updates aren't officially enabled yet (this is on Ubuntu, not us). Until then you can use do-release-upgrade -d to upgrade manually

Ok I was missing the '-d' argument, it worked! Thanks a lot!

worth noting: you might need to update the ppa in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ from lunar to mantic by hand. do-release-upgrade doesn't do that automatically (for some reason)
