<jglathe_x13s> "argh. connecting an external..." <- sometimes it works -- what is your config?
<jglathe_x13s>
vadikas[m] Normally I don't put an external display on the X13s, but I have a typec to HDMI adapter on usb0, and a 4K display on it. Restricted to 2560x1440 in the GUI setup.
<jglathe_x13s>
Depending on orientation of the adapter it works, but display won't sleep (non-swapped)
<jglathe_x13s>
swapped it gets really weird, if the display is on (and won't go to sleep before link training finishes) it will work, but not (!) on boot or on resume.

<lollaritits[m]>
yes
<jglathe_x13s>
d you know which driver is the modem (the one listed in lspci -vvv I would assume)
<lollaritits[m]>
Kernel driver in use: mhi-pci-generic
<lollaritits[m]>
last time i installed arch it just worked (tm)
<jglathe_x13s>
@lollaritits[m] tried the 'sudo rmmod mhi_pci_generic && sudo modprobe mhi_pci_generic' ? this would unload / probe the driver, but could also crash the system. I do this with ath11k_pci when it's acting up, usually ot crashing, but restoring WiFi.
<lollaritits[m]>
my system didnt crash
