Hmm.. OK, I got past the GPU driver in kernel part (by abandoning leo3418's ebuilds, they were somewhat of a red herring for me), now X/wayland complains that it "Cannot run in framebuffer mode" - any special configs for it? Hardcode busid? Or some missing DRM/FB module?
