10:11 <leio> BenTheTechGuy: I may be completely off, because I only have read about it from previous chatter in the past week or two, but I understood it just won't work on apple silicon because some talking to some hardware needs to be done in 16kB pages and linux can't do it hybrid

10:32 <sven> we just want to prevent guides or ready made solutions with those changes because then you get end user who don’t necessarily understand what they sign up for using them and possibly breaking their systems

10:34 <leio> yeah, to me it's just hard to imagine losing data, I guess if you go and overwrite the whole partition with a new install instead of swapping the kernel and setting some boot configuration around
