<janneg>
mps: none of the tags are directly intended for distributions as tagging is done before testing. the kernel asahi-6.6-pre* tags are explicitly *not* for distros
<janneg>
for now looking at the tags shipped uses in the main PKGBUILDs branch is still the recommended. Fedora ships newer tags but those depended until yesterday on a patched wireplumber package
<janneg>
yesterday's wireplumber release fixes that but is not tested
<mps>
janneg: thanks for explanation
<mps>
though I'm using 6.6-pre3 kernel on my machine and tried latest mesa-asahi tag. kernel works fine bu mesa-asahi doesn't
<mps>
but this is not important, I just testing to see changes
<janneg>
mesa should/does work. mesa tags from november need asahi-6.5-28 or later
<mps>
I tried with 6.5-28 and 6.5-29 and 6.6-pre3, and mesa 20231121. xorg works but anything related to doesn't. saying something about not have rights to access something
<mps>
related to GPU*
<mps>
but modern graphic is magic for me
<mps>
so I simply reverted mesa-asahi back to one from september
<mps>
I can post error from stdout if someone want to see it
