<jannau> Halian|Jardin: which device? during runtime or after reboot (into a new kernel)
<Halian|Jardin> jannau: my M1 MacBook Air. After rebooting into Mac OS and back.
<jannau> fixed after another reboot?
<Halian|Jardin> Nope :D
<Halian|Jardin> Doesn't work under fallback initramfs, either
<Halian|Jardin> I need to grab another 'nother 'puter so I can reboot this one into Asahi and SSH into it
<Halian|Jardin> *try SSHing
<jannau> after hard shutdown? does it still work in macos
<Halian|Jardin> I haven't tried yet. Yes.

<jannau> Halian: this is strange. does the trackpad still works?
john-cabaj has joined #asahi-alt
<Halian> jannau: I had had the trackpad disabled because I kept accidentally activating it while typing (and had a trackball plugged in); now that I reënabled it and rebooted, the keyboard works too o_o
<Halian> I'm still having the network errors delaying boot/shutdown and the freeze on return from sleep
kujeger has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer]

<jannau> Halian: disabling the trackpad disables the keyboard as well because they are to some degree the same device
<Halian> WTF

<jannau> how did you disable the trackpad
<Halian> The Touchpad subscene of the Mouse & Touchpad scene of KDE's System Settings
<j`ey> that would have been useful info :p
<Halian> Sorry ._.
<Halian> I'm still having the network errors delaying boot/shutdown and the freeze on return from sleep
<Halian> Also trying to figure out a way to read APFS under ALARM

<Halian> [ 3.632269] ieee80211 phy0: brcmf_dongle_roam: WLC_SET_ROAM_DELTA error (-52)
<Halian> then a pause of over a minute, then
<Halian> [FAILED] Failed to start Wait for Network to be Configured.
<Halian> Those are the errors I get that delay boot
<Halian> But Wi-Fi works just fine once in ALARM
<jannau> did the keyboard still worked in KDE after disabling the trackpad (before the reboot)?
<Halian> Yes

<spuos> what are the additional packages I should install for asahi? I swear I saw a list of scripts and things that do stuff like nvram but I can't for the life of me recall what
<spuos> my audio sounds wrong on gentoo, (j313) I emerged asahi audio and the only use flag added to pipewire was pipewire-alsa, is the wrong DSP loaded?
<Halian> Anyone have any ideas what's causing the network subsystem to delay boot and shutdown? (see the Termbin link I posted)
<leio> spuos: well, there's asahi-meta and asahi-nvram-meta
