jernej: In general, with orangepi zero3 I managed to fix the HDMI image output. Let me remind the story. I initially had two adjacent pins shorted on the microhdmi connector. I tried to fix this with a soldering iron, after which I got image output in the spi image on my home monitors, but no output in other distros. At the same time, the image was present on the neighbor’s monitor. Now I increased the input voltage as well as the voltage of th

e internal sources and the image output perfectly works on my devices. After numerous attempts, I managed to solder the connector well, after which the image began to be output without increased voltage

I'm sorry to trouble you
<junari>
But this method did not work with TVbox

apritzel: Good suggestion regarding memory, I'll try it as soon as possible
<jernej>
montjoie: thanks for testing
<jernej>
junari: did your board come with solder bridge on HDMI from the factory?
<jernej>
e.g. poor QA?
<junari>
jernej: yes
<jernej>
interesting, this is second time I heard about poor QA. First one is ethernet PHY on OrangePi 3 LTS
<junari>
But orangepi sent me another device for the cost of delivery to my region (~6$)
<junari>
apritzel: about memory. I have found out that the method used in the orangepi bootloader does not work (at least for 1.5 GB LPDDR3). Just a decrease in available memory causes the operating system to freeze some time after booting.

In addition to checking at the end of the last 1/4 of memory, I also added an ADDRMAP configuration, after which the system does not freeze

junari: your share is not public
<junari>
jernej: oops, fixed
<apritzel>
junari: so does OrangePi use a different ADDRMAP to begin with? something that fits the 1.5GB case better?

apritzel: yes, I think. LPDDR4 uses another mechanism, because I made an image for zero3 with an additional check of the last 1/4, and it still erroneously detected 2 GB
<jernej>
hm... Starting with at least H6, AW complicated a bit setting addrmap registers, but it seems we got away with older, simpler approach till now.

extra values are taken from dram_para1 value and used as part of addrmap values
