apritzel: it should be specified only in wifi_pwrseq, why do you think BT also needs it?
<jernej>
I could be wrong, but I think BT doesn't work without working wifi

I found a person with a opizero3 version with 1.5 GB memory and he is ready to participate in testing
<junari>
When I looked at the sources by orangepi, they do the same thing that I do with my 1.5GB tvbox, just SIZE / 4 * 3

<apritzel>
does anyone know about those .txt firmware files needed for some (Broadcom) WiFi chips? I found something "on the Internet" (TM), but was wondering if there is a canonical source for them?
<apritzel>
brcmfmac4335-sdio.bin is in the official firmware repos, but the file ending in .txt is not, and I couldn't find anything similar in the Android image
<jernej>
apritzel: from experience, any txt for that chip should work, but ideally, you would find it in Android image
<jernej>
usually alongside FW

jernej: do you have any clue what to look for? I ran "find" on the whole mounted tree, and didn't find anything that looked similar
<jernej>
I forgot already, but I guess some txt file?
<jernej>
it looks like old ini file, it holds some configuration
<apritzel>
I think that's the file I found and tried yesterday, and at least the driver probed and wlan0 appeared, but I haven't tried actually connecting yet

karlp: impact, yes, but basic connection should work with most, if not all, of them
<karlp>
that's my understanding, yes.
<karlp>
especially given that so few people depart from the reference designs, because, lol, documentationwat?
