Hi @Daanct12, vad fan?
<gamiee>
veremitz?
<veremitz>
gamiee: RIP to the pine64 web assets :p
<gamiee>
veremitz: why?
<veremitz>
I think they've been down more than up since 1/1/24 :P
<veremitz>
or have they been fixed already!?
<gamiee>
Yes, since 20th of January, but 90% is back already.
<veremitz>
gamiee: you're aware it went down again ni the past 24h?
<gnarface>
gamiee: irc went down in the past 5 hours
<gnarface>
actually about 2 hours ago it looks like
<gnarface>
probably mafia retaliation for me actually helping someone
<gamiee>
veremitz gnarface : yes, because backup hosting had outage. The backup hosting I chose have sometimes outages (not long ones), but their price is great, and it's team of fans of virtualization and Linux servers (they have non-profit org) (also sorry for offtopic)
<veremitz>

is there a way to disable CONFIG_THERMAL from u-boot? The device fails to boot with it bcs it needs DTS changes in linux kernel

KREYREN: I don't think you can disable the thermal subsystem from the command line, if that is your question
<apritzel>
but you can change the DT on the fly: fdt move $fdtcontroladdr $fdt_addr_r; fdt resize; fdt set /soc/thermal-sensor status "disabled"
<apritzel>
but the actual discussion should be why this is happening in the first case. Is this about the missing trip points in the DT?
