<warpme> apritzel : i have user with h313 box having ddr3l and axp313a. May you pls hint me what is ap313a dcdc3 upper limit? WIth 1.35v for dram i'm getting: vdd-dram: failed to apply 1350000-1350000uV constraint: -EINVAL

<machinehum> The D1H seems to support dual rank ram, but the memory I want to use has just one rank. Does anyone know what I do with the CS0/CS1, ODT0/ODT1 pins?
<machinehum> And then perhaps there is a software solution?
<tokyovigilante> jernej: loki666: thanks have got the timing patch you both mentioned now
<tokyovigilante> have managed to get a PWM driver built and LCD test pattern displaying with some help from a discord users (kikuchan98 are you in here?), and will pull in the rest of the T507 DTS work, which *should* be universal across the H616/618/700 AFAIK

<apritzel> warpme: the granularity of DCDC3 is only 20mV for "higher" voltages (>1.2mV), so you have to specify 1.36V, or min=1.35V, max=1.36V
<warpme> apritzel: thx! I hope this granularity thing is reason why currently user sees box constantly self-rebooting at boot (https://gist.github.com/warpme/fe38b42f51bb6b2a8d47faa62b918451) I see such behaviour first time...
<warpme> thx!. I just sent updated dtb to user - let see what happens :-)
<apritzel> warpme: it would be good if we get a upstream DT and U-Boot defconfig in return ;-) At least posted to the list, so that the DRAM parameters are in the public ML archives
tnovotny has joined #linux-sunxi
<warpme> apritzel: what will be best ML for this: u-boot mainline?
<apritzel> warpme: for the defconfig: yes, plus linux-sunxi@lists.linux.dev. The DT patches should go to Linux lists: "scripts/get_maintainer.pl <patchfile>" should give a list
<apritzel> and the patches need to have a Signed-off-by: line, otherwise they cannot be accepted, but also other people cannot push them upstream
<warpme> ok thx. let user first test code then i'll upload it.
<apritzel> Thanks! That would be useful as I think there are quite some cheap H313 TV boxes out there, but we don't have any of them supported upstream.

<tokyovigilante> loki666: sorry no have rolled my own config, I will get the defconfig and post it later today
<tokyovigilante> Once I get the display working I will pull it apart for upstreaming, we've got DE, timing controller/TOP, GPU, PWM, HDMI, and the LCD which all need to be in place
<tokyovigilante> Probably PWM / DE independently, then TCON/TOP -> LCD -> HDMI and GPU, in that order
<tokyovigilante> LCD can also go independently actually, its just an addition to the NV3052C-controlled devices
<loki666> Good job
