<tokyovigilante> jernej: apritzel: I've got a working and fairly minimal set of patches for LCD support on the RG35XX devices, based heavily on jernej's T507 and H616 work, I'd like to get them upstreamed, but they touch a lot of subsystems and a few too many commits starting with "HACK:..." for me to think they will be successful as is. Is it worth sending a RFC patch, knowing that it is relatively raw?
<tokyovigilante> I can chunk out a few bits, have already started with the display panel, and the TCON changes etc are minor and mainly to DT bindings, so will get those in as separate patches
<tokyovigilante> but there is quite a bit of DE rework in particular

<tokyovigilante> here's the current DE code, sufficent to run the LCD alone, including the DE33 code (plus the YUV and AFBC format support which I feel like needs upstreaming at some point, and didn't have the heart to strip out)

<tokyovigilante> this is a basic codec driver, which works for lineout apart from runs at 50% of the correct sample rate (i assume
