<xback>
Question: within an openwrt package makefile, like video.mk or usb.mk one defines FILES to point at the .ko files being generated
<xback>
for instance, I'm facing the issue now where one of the .ko files is depending on a kernel specific symbol. is there anyway to properly describe that?
<xback>
As an example, I've defined KCONFIG symbol CONFIG_VIDEO_IMX_VDOA, which generates imx-vdoa.ko, but these are dependent on kernel symbol CONFIG_SOC_IMX6Q
<xback>
so on non-IMX6Q platform, the .ko file is logically not found after build

<ynezz>
xback: look at crypto, there are target/platform specific modules
<ynezz>
xback: and you can probably try `DEPENDS:=@SOC_IMX6Q`
<ynezz>
xback: ah SOC_IMX6Q is kernel config symbol, so you wont be able to do that
<ynezz>
xback: so probably `DEPENDS:=@TARGET_imx_cortexa9` could work
