ynezz: looking at #15068, not sure what's the point of using a noreply email in a Suggested-by tag (in fact I don't see what's the point of ever mentioning noreply addresses tbh)
<jow>
f00b4r0: you can infer the github handle from it
<f00b4r0>
still, it's bad form. might as well use "Suggested-by: GH @user"
<jow>
yeah but then it wouldn't have the same format as the other entries :P
<f00b4r0>
the resulting email address is unusuable for the purposes of scripting anyway ;P
<jow>
the approach chosen by ynezz pleases my OCD at least
<f00b4r0>
-u
<f00b4r0>
it bothers mine :)
<f00b4r0>
but heh, ok
<jow>
but I agree, a GH @user would work equally well

<jow>
GH @foo and foo <foo@users.noreply.github.com> can be treated interchangeably
<jow>
at least when doing a hypothetical scripting solution, I'd probably support both formats
<f00b4r0>
when that user closes their GH account (or GH closes them, or goes under), the link will be lost anyway since there is no distinguishable identity anyway
<jow>
as well as direct links to the user profile
<f00b4r0>
personally I would just have mentioned in the commit message "this was suggested by @user on GH". Carries as much info :)
<jow>
The commit message should focus on the actual code/problem aspects imho, ownership/origin aspects should go in the footer

<aparcar>
what's up with all those recent build failures
<stintel>
imagine that, TP-Link set me a link to a GPL tarball
<stintel>
but no u-boot, classic
<stintel>
> It appears the U-Boot source code is missing. Please also provide the U-Boot source, including the modifications that add the custom mtkboardboot command.

aparcar: looks like genuine breakages

aparcar: x86/generic was a transient upload issue

jow thanks, I’m always a bit afraid to be the one that breaks snapshots
<aparcar>
I’ll see if we can improve the CI further to catch those
<robimarko>
aparcar: Hm, I dont see how mvebu ATF suddenly broke

whoa robimarko, so ipq807x/60xx cpr4-regulator is untweakable huh? we used to do shit like this on msm8953 at the very least to force speed bin
<\x>
and this doesnt do anything on ipq60xx, seems theres no other speed bin than 0 and then iterating random cpr_fusing rev does nothing
<robimarko>
AFAIK there is only one speed bin and revision so nothing you can do there
<robimarko>
Its all simplified
<\x>
yeah theres only speed bin 0 on ipq6018 dts

wth. openwrt tells me my ipv6-d is 2a01:e0a:9f1:xxx::/64 but the ISP says it really is 2a01:e0a:9f0:yyyy::/64 and that last value is also shown in radvdump

I don't have time to send a patch, so unfortunately it's just an FYI for now (instead of a pull request with a fix)
