steev: I enabled the &wifi node in DT but no sign of a WiFi interface in dmesg nor in /sys/class/net. I checked under /sys/firmware/devicetree to make sure wifi@18800000 is status="okay". Here is dmesg, maybe someone else can see something I don't: https://dpaste.com/E4Q7BYMFT

is there anything in /sys/kernel/debug/devices_deferred ?
<steev>
i don't *think* you *have* to have the regulatory db, but maybe you do?
<aceridus>

worst case, i'd throw it in
<steev>
if you ONLY put wifi = okay, you might not have enough

steev: I pulled the node from sc7180-trogdor.dtsi which required me to make sure all of the referenced regulators were defined also. Of course, I have no way of knowing whether or not those regulators are valid for my machine

Hmmm every once in a while I wake up in the morning to my x13s stuck with a black backlit screen and that's it. It doesn't look like its got any internet connectivity.. any ideas on debugging that further? So far I've just ignored it since I needed to login for work purposes, but this morning I've switched to my other machine
