<steev> calebccff: actually, i lied, with your patches on top, the display never wakes up from suspend, but there's nothing in dmesg about it or about why

<init> I've been trying to boot a self-built 6.1-rc* on a lenovo x13s. I can get 6.0 to boot with the various ironrobin patches, but the 6.1 jams just before (or right at) the dummy console get set-up. I boot with earlycon=efifb. Any hints on which patch I could be messing?
<clover[m]> Check the Leo Shen repo for 6.1 and install it manually
<init> link?
<init> got it
<init> ha yeah alright, i worked with that already.

<steev> init: you're missing the dma coherent patch from jhovold most likely
<steev> arm64: dts: qcom: sc8280xp: fix PCIe DMA coherency
<steev> i'm not sure if i've pushed my recent 6.1 stuff
<steev> where my = gathering up the various stuff from others

<steev> 6.1 still needs quite a few patches, we're down to like 60 or so on top of next, so if you're trying to apply the least amount of patches possible... that's gonna be an exercise in frustration
<steev> it's about 255 on top of 6.1

<steev> i'm gonna test rc7 here shortly, if it mostly works, i'll push it
<HdkR> That's a lot of patches!
<steev> not really
<steev> a lot of them are fixups for "other" things, but they're part of the series
<steev> i suppose one could drop all the documentation patches as well, but i like to have them around for times like now where my internet basically lets me use irc and that's it
