robclark changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Chrome OS Trogdor Devices - Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630 - Lenovo ThinkPad X13s - and various other snapdragon laptops) - https://oftc.irclog.whitequark.org/aarch64-laptops

martiert, emily[m]1: the modem has been supported since 6.2, I'm updating this page work as progresses to reflect the state of Linux support for the X13s:
<steev>
i think the cam stuff *should* be in place for 6.9
<craftyguy>
is wwan data working with your kernel?
<steev>
as far as i know, yeah, cuz clover[m] uses it
<steev>
i don't have wwan model
<craftyguy>
hmm ok
<steev>
all i know is "modern modemmanager and do the fcc unlock"
<craftyguy>
ya that wasn't enough for me, so I may be missing some kconfig or ?? (I havne't had time to dig in further, but knowing that someone has it working is a good bit of info I can use later :P)
<steev>
you could check the commit where i add wwan options

konradybcio: i'm trying to follow https://lore.kernel.org/all/CY9E4ZCHOMWU.C18NR0H7V1QX@fairphone.com/ because i *think* that's the same issue we get on the c630; assuming i'm reading it correctly, if i were to apply his patch to bam_dma, i should (conceivably) get the values that the 845 crypto unit is looking for?

welp, here goes nothing :)
<steev>
the thing there is, iirc, it's only the c630 that was affected by it, the other sdm845/850 devices weren't? (that's why bamse had me send a patch to disable crypto in the c630's dts)
