<krzk> steev: why do you take some weird patches out of the context? How can it work?

<steev> krzk: what do you mean weird patches out of the context? i'd had your v1 patchset, and not the one that was accepted. i removed your v1 patchset
<krzk> steev: I have no clue what tree you have there, what patches you put there or what you did not. Previously we talked about some custom tree, so I assume this is still the case. If you talk about mainline, please point it explicitly, because your NULL ptr misses that information.
<krzk> steev: I mean, you took some patches which do not build, not even entire patchset and this was reported by kbuild robot
<krzk> so this report here can be as well absolutely anything...
<steev> it *did* build and i had been using it for quite some time, albeit with no working audio and soundwire reporting underflows. clang may have been unhappy with it, but gcc happily compiled it and did not complain. if it had i would have noticed it sooner.
<steev> it could be a nothing report, but if one were to go back through the history of this channel, audio being broken on the c630 has been a thing for a very long damn time, and all i've been trying to do is collect the various patches from people touching the bits that touch the audio for it to see if we can get some semblance of working audio again

<krzk> steev: sure, but I still do not understand: do you report mainline issue or some-tree issue? If it is some-tree how can I know what you or anyone else put there?
<krzk> about working audio, I think it works out of the box (without out of tree patches) only on RB3, RB5 and X13s.
<steev> prior to... 6.4? it definitely did
<steev> i am currently compiling stable linux-6.7.y branch with no extra patches but it's 2:30a and it'll be a while and i should get some sleep

<steev> krzk: okay, stable linux-6.7.y with no patches applied - https://paste.debian.net/hidden/2ef40f81 - stable linux-6.7.y with your 5 patches https://github.com/steev/linux/commits/c630-linux-6.7.y-krzk/ on top - https://paste.debian.net/hidden/e56d8a25 - kernel config used is http://sprunge.us/fTqD3D so, it's not one of my other random patches
