robclark changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Chrome OS Trogdor Devices - Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630 - Lenovo ThinkPad X13s - and various other snapdragon laptops) - https://oftc.irclog.whitequark.org/aarch64-laptops

So I can get a bit further, I can actually put in my passphrase
<clover[m]>
It doesn't know f2fs lol

ok yeah, johan defconfig works steev
<steev>
then check what johan has built in that i don't; i'm guessing it's interconnect based on the output
<steev>
but you said you added the qnoc-sc8280xp to the initrd
<clover[m]>
CONFIG_INTERCONNECT_QCOM_SC8280XP=m is yours
<clover[m]>
CONFIG_INTERCONNECT_QCOM_SC8280XP=y is johans
<clover[m]>
correct qnoc-sc8280xp is listed in my modules
<steev>
and its in the initrd?
<bamse>
it's =y in upstream defconfig, follow that
<steev>

hmm question, don't know if its normal: boot from USB-C with adsp loading works now, but the stick/SSD ends up as a USB2 device. I can remember it was possible to boot as USB-3 from USB-C.
<jglathe_x13s>
some modules order? some modules missing?
<travmurav[m]>
perhaps whatever muxes the type-c lanes muxes them wrong on boot?
<HdkR>
Perhaps you need to rotate the type-c cable
<jglathe_x13s>
I will try
<jglathe_x13s>
what the... now it shows up as 10G (USB3.2)... where are these MUXes controlled again? there is some pinctrl I remember
<jglathe_x13s>
thanks
<HdkR>
I have all the type-c devices I use with the X13s marked in sharpie for the correct orientation because of this :D
<jglathe_x13s>
oh, way to go
<jglathe_x13s>
but that would be pericom,pi3usb102 usb-sbu-mux that's doing something wrong right?
<jglathe_x13s>
it makes direction switch and dp altmode switch (and port enable)
<jglathe_x13s>
and there's two of them
<jglathe_x13s>
for every type-c
<jglathe_x13s>
I guess I'll do the sharpie thing for now
