robclark changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Chrome OS Trogdor Devices - Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630 - Lenovo ThinkPad X13s - and various other snapdragon laptops) - https://oftc.irclog.whitequark.org/aarch64-laptops
<bamse> qzed: the naming of the pdc interrupts are weird on 8180...but i think it's telling me that the superspeed interrupts should be 6 for primary, 40 for secondary, 7 for mp0, and 30 for mp1
<qzed> that sounds like what I can deduce from ACPI
<qzed> however the DT right now contains 7 for secondary, not 40
<qzed> thanks!

<bamse> qzed: will we see an spx dts upstream anytime soon then?
<qzed> not sure about soon, but I'll still try to get it there
<bamse> what's the state of the surface-specifics?
<qzed> the EC stuff should more or less work, but I think I should move it out of the DT and into the registry driver thing that we use for ACPI
<qzed> the bigger part that I need to address for a basic DT is revisiting all the magic numbers that I either tried to get from windows drivers or ACPI and make sure that they're correct
<qzed> basically, for many things I'm not really confident whether they're correct and things work because of that or whether it's wrong and it still works somehow
<bamse> qzed: i see, thanks for the update

<jhovold> qzed: yeah, bamse reported seeing those intermittent io errors as well
<alx__> @steev thanks for the links regarding the adsp, doesn't the adsp support fastrpc on the 8280xp? there is no node for that in the dt. In the cdsp node there is a qcom,non-secure-domain missing I think, there are commits for various other soc which added these as missing as well. I am trying to get DSP offlaoding to work with fastrpc for a while now but somehow struggle with rpc errors. The hlos part
<alx__> is something I am quite familiar with but there seems to be something else
<alx__> all attempts for offloading end up with a 8000600 error which is a generic rpc error without further info what went wrong and very hard to debug
