steveej[m]: regulator_ignore_unused should not impact suspend on the x13s, perhaps you can double check

Black week is coming

<steev>
we just get the one friday (and then the whole cyber monday thing)
<abby>
retailers have been trying to bring those shopping days to canada but it doesn't make sense when there's no holiday there

<\[m]>
im belgium the holiday is the 1st tho, to remember the death basically
<JosDehaes[m]>
the kids get a week off school yes, the parents have to work (unless you take holiday of course) 😅
<travmurav[m]>
Hacked together dtbloader DPP parser for bt/wlan mac address, seems to work fine on aspire1
<travmurav[m]>
I guess I will need to repair devices to my laptop again since i was using the previous board-stable mac generator...
<travmurav[m]>
it would work reliably for emmc (and probably ufs) devices where there are gpt labels and I've implemented a fallback search based on header magic value which would hopefully be good enough for spi (unless firmware has some protection mess for partition access)
<travmurav[m]>
in any case, that thing would need to be enabled on per-device label after testing

<macc24>
has anyone tried using a 2280 drive on a laptop that is supposed to accept 2242 only?
<macc24>
nothing permament just a lil something to re-image my laptop
<travmurav[m]>
there was an x13s picture somewhere
<macc24>
i'm concerned about overloading regulators or something... i remember there being issues with steam deck and ssd power usage
<hogliux>
steev: but the screws were too thick. So in the end I just taped it down with normal tape. It's going to come and haunt me in the future some day for sure

that is the one i used (at least, from the american amazon) too]
<steev>
that one actually looks far more solid than what i have :D
<steev>
in fact, since i started seeing the aer stuff (once we stopped hiding them) i was actually worried it wasn't seated correctly (hell it still might not be)

<bamse>
"pacman -S linux-aarch64-rc && reboot" now works on x13s
<bamse>
linux-aarch64 should work the next time its rebuilt as well...
<steev>
woo!
<steev>
a debian testing iso should also work now
<steev>
i mean it did previously, but now it should have the 6.11 kernel
