<runxiyu>
mps: Hi, I used your installation script based on the Asahi Installer to install Alpine. When loading the wifi module, it complains about being unable to load any applicable firmware. I went to the EFI partition and grabbed the firmware tarball and extracted it to /root/fw, where should I put it?
<runxiyu>
Thanks!
<chaos_princess>
/lib/firmware/
<mps>
runxiyu: after first boot you have to extract firmware from ESP
<mps>
iirc I put fwextract script in install image
<mps>
asahi-fwextract
<mps>
but 'tar xf /boot/efi/vendorfw/firmware.tar -C /lib/firmware' should be safe
