<n3ph>
how can I run emerge in FEXroot to add more libraries? I can't run krun as root but running `su -l` in FEXBash returns `/usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo/bin/bash: /usr/bin/su: Permission denied`
<n3ph>
I could use `unshare` and set `--root` for emerge, but I would use the correct compiler then..
<n3ph>
s/would/wouldn\'t/

Obviously, chrooting isn't an option too.. I am sure I am missing something here.
<n3ph>
Would I need to setup a toolchain for bootstrapping the entire FEXroot?
<n3ph>
chaos_princess: I am stuck on using `arch-chroot` after `cp /usr/bin/qemu-x86_64 /usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo/usr/bin`
<n3ph>
It states proc is not mounted.. 🤔
<n3ph>
Do I need to setup the entire env before? I thought binfmt would handle it
<n3ph>
I've tried with `mkdir /usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo/{proc,sys,dev,run,tmp}`, but by running `arch-chroot /usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo` I now get `qemu-x86_64: /usr/bin/bash: Error mapping file: Invalid argument`
<n3ph>
brainfart.. I need `qemu-aarch64` 🙄
<n3ph>
meh.. `chroot: failed to run command ‘/bin/bash’: No such file or directory`
<n3ph>
But `ls -la /usr/share/fex-emu/RootFS/Gentoo/bin/sh`:
<chaos_princess>
so, there are ways to make it work (do an id mapped mount, then run fex when chrooted on top of it), but i'd recommend using an x86 machine to do that for now
<chaos_princess>
or if you do not have one, a full fat vm
