marcan: I ran the current asahi installer now four times from macos, and I always end up in recovery os not in 1tr on __first__ try after the first shutdown. Maybe I have fat fingers, but not 4 times. Maybe someone should investigate or change the instructions to reflect what is happening.

the second option has the disadvantage that you have to go through macos revocery everytime you want to upgrade the kernel

replace macho with bin. Than you need to go to 1tr and bless the boot object. using kmutl configure-boot.
