zzoon[m], yes, I know, that's what I've been trying to explain. I gave you a link to the GNOME Mutter MR that lists some approaches.

zzoon[m], sorry, I confused nicks starting with zz.

zzxyb[m], yes, I know, that's what I've been trying to explain. I gave you a link to the GNOME Mutter MR that lists some approaches.
<pq>
zzxyb[m], but no matter what you do, you still do need to handle format modifiers correctly.

tzimmermann: hi, I reviewed the first patches from your screen_info series that I think are not controversial and you could just land
<tzimmermann>
javierm, yeah saw it. thanks a lot
<javierm>
tzimmermann: I skipped the ones that there are on-going conversations with arnd
<tzimmermann>
i'll send out an updated patchset soon
<javierm>
tzimmermann: cool, thanks

gerddie: any plans to support PIPE_CAP_SHAREABLE_SHADERS in r600?
<karolherbst>
it's kinda annoying me having to support drivers not supporting it, not sure how hard it would be to support it in r600

<akselmo>
Hi, i would love to help working on drivers like amdgpu and such. I wouldnt mind starting with simple bug fixes (if there is such thing as simple) or anything like so.
<akselmo>
Any tips how to get started? I have been afraid to ask before but im super interested in this even i dont know much lol
<ishitatsuyuki>
in any case, if something it's hitting it, it's leaking pipelines
<MrCooper>
piglit's
<ishitatsuyuki>
I mean which job actually
<MrCooper>
sounds like it can't be an assertion
<ishitatsuyuki>
it's not a problem to fail tests if something is blatantly violating VUIDs
<MrCooper>
I hit it with a local script, not a CI job
<ishitatsuyuki>
I suggest adding it to the fail list
<MrCooper>
shouldn't the test be fixed?
<ishitatsuyuki>
that too
<MrCooper>
it doesn't need to be added to any fail list, or you couldn't have merged that MR :)
<ishitatsuyuki>
well, not all configurations are tested pre-merge
<MrCooper>
gotcha

ClearBufferfv does not seem to clear depth attachments that are textures, only those that are renderbuffers, but I can't find such discrimination in the OpenGL spec.
<chloekek>
Should I report this as a bug or is this something I’m misunderstanding?

the fonts look all messed up
<dviola>
I'm not sure it's virtio though, I might be blaming the wrong thing
