<jhovold> steev: that should still be in the branch, albeit without the updated commit message. See f7672b0d8d1d ("dispcc driver").

<jenneron[m]> <steev> "pierro78: oh, wait, no, you..." <- how would i make a separated debian installer for galaxy book s? separated because it needs dtb and doesn't work with ACPI
<steev> jenneron[m]: you'd follow the docs to use your custom kernel - https://github.com/Mani-Sadhasivam/debian-cdimage/tree/main/doc
<jenneron[m]> thanks, will take a look
<jenneron[m]> also, my gpu artifacts are now in windows too

<steev> jhovold: btw, every once in a while (it's not super often, i think i've seen it a total of twice) i see a "could not locate request for tag 0x0" - this apepars to come from drivers/nvme/host/nvme.h
<steev> happens roughly 5 seconds into the boot, and unfortunately, just freezes there, so no logs

<steev> bamse: so, uh, because i don't know what i'm doing (lol) this was my hack, for now (in my defense, i haven't checked the ml at all if you did post something) - https://github.com/steev/linux/commit/ce73597455cba23fff3eb8c47a9816e320a252eb
<steev> seems to be working?
<steev> whether its subtly broken... i dunno
<steev> okay, definitely subtly broken :D
<steev> instead of sleeping it reboots
<steev> huh, TIL gnome handles clamshell mode just fine
