weird. not only am I unable to get efivars to work with the uefisecapp driver, but now I cant even modify my boot menu through shell.efi and running bcfg. I can make modifications like normal and 'bcfg boot dump' shows the changes. but when I reboot i get the old menu again, none of my changes are there

i tried both built in and as module.
