ChanServ changed the topic of #aarch64-laptops to: Linux support for AArch64 Laptops (Asus NovaGo TP370QL - HP Envy x2 - Lenovo Mixx 630 - Lenovo Yoga C630)
<clover[m]>
so does aarch64 EFI boot not support ISO9660?
<broonie>
clover[m]: That'll be a firmware rather than architecture question.
<clover[m]>
Interesting
<clover[m]>
I guess lenovo firmware only supports FAT32 ESPs
<steev>
weird, i thought you said before that you had to unmute that in order to get audio?

steev: so your headphones works with 6.3, did they ever work with 6.4?
<akaWolf>
someone faced an problem when x13s doesn't charging?
<danielt>
akaWolf: I've had problems like that when using a 65W charger and a docking station.
<akaWolf>
it shows charging status and LED is orange, but percent of charge is slowly going down without load
<danielt>
akaWolf: I switched to the Thinkpad dock (which has a different power supply) and never saw it since.
<danielt>
akaWolf: Didn't happen all the time... just sometimes :-(
<akaWolf>
danielt: it's with 65W, but I have no dock station. never seen it before, my clue it's related to new kernel
<akaWolf>
6.4.0-rc6-1-x13s-rc+
<danielt>
akaWolf: I've never seen anything like this with the power cord running straight to the machine
<akaWolf>
okay, I was wrong, it's charging with another one 65W charger..
<steev>
jhovold: if i unmute the ear_rdac, yes, otherwise, no
<clover[m]>
also i've been on 6.3 because i got random crashes / reboots when on 6.4
<robclark>
akaWolf: I've seen the not-charging thing.. although it was with a different usb-c charger than the one it came with
<robclark>
(I've not seen that problem on any other laptop or chromebook)
<steev>
likewise, not using the charger it came with, but i was also doing multiple kernel and rust app compilations

clover[m]: i have not had any problems with my 6.4 wip branches, so perhaps related that steev has put on top
<akaWolf>
robclark: surprisungly the one that was shipped with laptop doesn't work now (I remember it worked before), but it works for another intel thinkpad laptop. the carger from that laptop works for both laptops.. strange.
<jhovold>
clover[m]: you could try running without those patches and see if it makes any difference
<jhovold>
e.g. my rc7 from ealier this week
<robclark>
fwiw, the times when I noticed it discharging on charger, replugging the usb-c side of the charger "fixed" it.. but defn a bit strange
