<steev> and you followed the instructions from johan's message about the 6.5 audio changes?
<agl7> yes
<agl7> It seams that in 6.5.0 and "make defconfig" that there are not all neccessary kernel module in the .config.
<steev> i do not use the defconfig, so i can't say
<agl7> what do you use?
<steev> laptop_defconfig, the one i patch
<agl7> steev: I have used the .config-6.4.10 load it in menuconfig-6.5.0 and save the new .config. Then I compile with this .config. And now I have Sound and Speakers in the selection box. NO Dummy device!!! It seems there are missing some kernel modules for the sound in defconfig.
<steev> probably, but i don't touch that file
<agl7> ok I will try johann's defconfig. Also the kernel module "rndis_host.ko" are also missing. It's necessary for usb and a Smartpone with USB Thethering.
<agl7> steev: I have now used laptop_defconfig ...

<agl7> clover[m]: Your new linux-x13s (6.5.0) works fine. Also USB Tethering over my Smarphone and my bluetooth mouse works fine. I haven't to enable the two necessary kernel modules for this two devices.
<clover[m]> cool
<agl7> clover[m]: Which defconfig use you for the linux-x13s 6.5.0 kernel?
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]> clover: Only the sound is again very quiet.
<clover[m]> agl7: laptop
<agl7> ok
<clover[m]> biovirizm: i noticed that too. sound is indeed quiet again
<agl7> clover[m]: Yes the sound is a little bit quit.
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]> And when watching YouTube, when rewinding, it also breaks.
<clover[m]> Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]: what browser?

<clover[m]> jhovold: I commented out the modem in the dts, the result is still that wlan0 fails to come up. Let me know if there is something else you want me to try. But this suggests modem is not causing the issue right?
<clover[m]> a funny quirk is that the wlan0 device will show up after booting into windows, checking for updates, then rebooting into linux
<clover[m]> i tend to do this as a workaround, it doesnt always work but it usually does
