<Dantheman825[m]> <Dantheman825[m]> "while I'm at it, I'll have to..." <- Sorry for bothering you guys so often, I'm just a little stumped on this one. For this would I just want to install the compiled mesa drivers globally and recompile FEX? Or would I want to pass some unique arguments when compiling mesa?

<Dantheman825[m]> <robclark> "Dantheman825: I think you..." <- you know what, on second thought, I may not need to recompile, the RootFS already seems to have `23.3.0 (git-1fbdd37d4c)`

<Dantheman825[m]> well, I guess since the rootfs mesa is already relatively up-to-speed, it's back to the drawing board on the Windows games issue

<bryanodonoghue> you'll also need a version of libcamera that can debayer for you -> https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/camera/libcamera-softisp/-/tree/SoftwareISP-v01-hans1?ref_type=heads
<bryanodonoghue> with a recent version of firefox - if you're on trixie you're good -> https://jgrulich.cz/2023/05/29/pipewire-camera-support-in-firefox/
<bryanodonoghue> you can get video calls going
<bryanodonoghue> status is everything works we just need to get stuff merged

<Jasper[m]> neobrain: I got openSUSE running on my X13s, it's really close to working ootb :D
<Jasper[m]> Had to chroot in from a rescue system to regenerate initrd with needed modules, and it doesn't install dtb-qcom by default
<Jasper[m]> *needed modules for fde
<Jasper[m]> also doesn't seem to spot the dtb from grub so I need to add that by hand
<Jasper[m]> Speaker audio is also very low, 3.5mm jack audio is too loud and distorted
<Jasper[m]> <Jasper[m]> "Speaker audio is also very low,..." <- Ah looks like the fixes for this aren't merged yet in the suse package
