<Dantheman825[m]> is the cracking audio on the X13s still fixed on 6.7.0-rc5?
<Dantheman825[m]> or was it fixed in older versions, then regressed?
<Dantheman825[m]> I still seem to run into the problem after a bit :(
<clover[m]> <steev> "it's a new browser" <- Is it yet another chromium based broser?
<steev> they use chromium/blink, but it's not just a skin on CEF
<steev> Dantheman825[m]: i've always had crackling audio, i think the "pops and clicks" that are fixed are when audio should stop playing, not during playback
<Dantheman825[m]> ah, okay then
<Dantheman825[m]> a shame, I guess I should start using earbuds or headphones
<steev> audio is, afaik, still being worked on, it's not like it's forgotten
<Dantheman825[m]> that's good to hear

<Dylanger> lol
<Dylanger> I'm gonna try get this HDK running tonight
<Dylanger> v
<Dylanger> * 8450 HDK
<Dylanger> I think I'll go with Fedora Server aarch64
<Dylanger> Does anyone know how rootfs works? I just format the userdata partition as like, f2fs or something?
<Dylanger> Or, because it's UFS maybe just ext4?
<Dylanger> Aw I don't think the ethernet port is enabled, I want this to be a NAS

<krzk> Dylanger: ext4
<krzk> There is no reason not to use ext4. Applies to every modern eMMC and UFS. You can use btrfs, but that's different dilemma
<krzk> but anyway I was usually just flashing Linaro Debian image, so "fastboot flash"
<krzk> Dylanger: etherhet was working on my device (I don't have HDK anymore)
<Dylanger> Oo okay
<Dylanger> I'll continue
<Dylanger> Thank you
<Dylanger> `fastboot flash userdata <rootfs>` right?

<krzk> Dylanger: yes, assuming <rootfs> is a img suitavble for flashing :)

<Dylanger> Lol don't switch to a different slot
<Dylanger> You'll end up with a brick
<travmurav[m]> robclark: you once said that 7c should do "up to 2560 width" displayport. Does this apply to height? :D I have an 1440x2560@80 display (only mode in the edid) and I'm not sure if it's the resolution or the rate that makes it not be useable
<konradybcio> travmurav: maybe hack the mode reading code to get vrefresh/2 and check

<robclark> travmurav[m]: other than pix clk, there should be no limit on height, only on width (no need to buffer whole columns but hw has to be able to buffer rows which puts a limit on width)
<travmurav[m]> hm I see, I guess the rate is my problem then...

<HdkR> Good news, the Lenovo X13s stomps on the Tegra Orin in capabilities of saturating this 5gbit connection I have running to the device. Good job :)
