JensGlathe: yep that seems to be sdhc2, those patches did just get accepted, I guess the rest will be pretty much the same as QCP
<SpieringsAE>
Nice!
<SpieringsAE>
should be easy to eventually do a quick gpiomon on pin 71 and plug in an sd card, or it is just in the dsdt
<SpieringsAE>
yep its in the dsdt in the SDC2 device
<SpieringsAE>
there seems to also be pin 27, wonder what thats for

There it is. SnapDragon Dev Kit getting a video output - dp altmode via type-c #0. Booting from type-c with firmwares loaded will stall you on the VBUS issue, booting from type-a or internal ssd it is.

Neat

I want to describe a display setup in this dts but its weird, there is a hdmi source, then a simple hdmi to dp brigde, then a switch which leads to usb-c and the integrated panel
<SpieringsAE>
so if a display gets detected on usb-c, it switches over, integrated panel goes dark.
<SpieringsAE>
is there something like a display switch node?
<macc24>
afaik it should have one input port and two output ports
<macc24>
it's just another mux
<SpieringsAE>
the datasheets are once again nowhere to be found or very very minimal :(
<SpieringsAE>
I should spam parade again for a ps185hdm datasheet

<macc24>
how is it described in acpi?
<JensGlathe[m]>
Could it be that its just usb_1_ss2_qmpphy? Maybe with a retimer inbetween?
<JensGlathe[m]>
This would be the least invasive and odd attachment method
<JensGlathe[m]>
sounds like it might be enough to copy over the usb1_ss2 stuff required for altmode, only qmpphy, maybe with ps8830 retimer rtmr_2 if its there (would not expect it) sort-of hard-wired for dp altmode which will be just role-switch in the node definition
<JensGlathe[m]>
You can't have both, HDMI and panel? Tried on Windows?
