I'm using iwd for 5 years on nearly all my machines (mostly chromebooks at beginning), even old intel macbook model from 2009 year

had just one machine which had wext wifi driver and that can't work with iwd so I user wpa_s on it

i got it working with eduroam, qut and uq networks. i guess the pain point is that stuff like networkmanager still doesnt have "full" integration with it as a backend
