you can accidentally wipe a wrong partition or something similar that destroys your data, however as long as you have another machine with macos or linux - you can always recover your mac from pretty much anything.

depends on how much you break macos. if you dont break the recovery partition - you can use it to recover, but if it is a full wipe of all partitions - you must connect another computer that runs apple configurator or idevicerestore, and then do the dfu recovery

Hello. I already asked this question on another Asahi related channel, but this probably is the best place to ask these kind of questions. Where can I find the XNU OS kernel payload on the Preboot partition? I'm trying to learn more about Apple security policy.
