@ydalton, regarding your vagrant error: `could not get preferred machine for /usr/bin/qemu-system-aarch64 type=kvm` . I suppose there is no machine image for aarch64 related to your vagrant script, or maybe qemu is not installed.
<yuey>
ydalton: really appreciated, i successfully run macos on the hypervisor. then going to watch lina's channel :-[

kallisti: i have that plugin installed but that's not what's causing the error
<ydalton>
i removed it but the error persists. vagrant has these things called providers, and i'm using libvirt. that qemu plugin allows you to use qemu as your provider. but those vagrant images are picky when it comes to providers
<ydalton>
yuey: congrats! even with the newest version of ventura?
<ydalton>
kallisti: at least i think that's how vagrant works, i've only just started using it

<ydalton>
well, i gave up using vagrant and i'm using virt-manager since i think all my school wants is an ubuntu virtual machine

<lisi>
but since then no news since then, did apple have to close them down or something?
<lisi>
or are they waiting for M3?
<jn>
the Asahi project is very much still alive
<sven>
and this is why we usually don’t mention any release dates 🙃
<lisi>
because of apple? :(
<lisi>
@jn: sure hope so, was looking forward to it! :)
<sven>
no
<sven>
because people make up stories like apple shutting us down
<sven>
apple deliberately made unsigned code execution possible and they don’t care about us at all
<lisi>
sorry i was just asking about the possibility, not stating a fact
<sven>
ah, yea, “just asking questions” *sigh*
<lisi>
no need to be rude

likewise. asking strange questions just because a software product misses a deadline by 2-3 weeks seems rude to me
<jannau>
and it's not as if the blog is the only source of updates

suggestion: point them to https://github.com/AsahiLinux/ to check activity. it should be enough for people who have no clue about how development works
<stintel>
and ask to not start FUD, please
<sven>
yeah, that would’ve been better
