<loki666>
I'm puzzled by my tests... I've been trying to run tokyovigilante branches but everytime, kernel randomly hanged with various oops, my first intuition was the latest cpu dvfs pathch series, and indeed when cpu-opp disabled in dts, no more issues
<loki666>
until I tested cpureq dvfs patch on top of 6.10rc3 which worked fine
<loki666>
my second though was an kconfig issue, but now I'm certain it's linked to cpu-opp, If I disable the last two freq bin (1416000000 and 1512000000), kernel is stable again
<loki666>
so could it be that my h700 quality is lower than tokyovigilante's and that it needs high voltage ?
<loki666>
anbernic image is working fine
<loki666>
I guess that since tokyovigilante branches also enable the gpu, it put more pressure on it which makes it fails
<loki666>
how can I compare the voltages with anbernic kernel?
<tokyovigilante>
I think they are in the vendor BSP, certainly for the -5 bins I think apritzel extracted them. I think it was a speed transition issue that was causing the crashes as that was what was fixed by the 6.10 patches, I tried boosting the 1.5GHz point as high as 1.24v and it made no difference at the time.
