<travmurav[m]> hexdump0815: Congrats on getting ufs with your setup, please make sure to only touch the Windows LUN :) (I guess it would be sda)
<travmurav[m]> hexdump0815: this sounds more or less what I did + I had to manually add the grup to the efi boot order, see bcfg in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unified_Extensible_Firmware_Interface#UEFI_Shell
<travmurav[m]> also note that having two esp that are both have esp uid might make firmware a little bit but upset, mine couldn't find firmware update capsule files but it seemed robust enough to not just explode so it didnt' cause any problems in real operation
<jhovold> HdkR: regarding the usb superspeed enumeration issue; try flipping the usb-c connector
<jhovold> I recently noticed that we appear to have a bug in the orientation detection that only affects coldplugging (boot)
<jhovold> it makes my SS ethernet be detected as HS before failing to enumerate a couple of times during boot
<jhovold> robclark: we'll likely run into some trouble going forward trying to update all these audio components in lock step
<jhovold> audio isn't really supported by mainline until the upcoming 6.5, so if we can at least get everything updated and in place before then it should hopefully only be the "early adopters" that will notice...
<jhovold> i worry more about the upcoming volume related ucm fixes, as I currently need to set the volume to 10% with them in order to save my ears
<jhovold> srinik's working on getting some limits in place before those updates hit the distros
<jhovold> clover[m]: the fingerprint reader has been supported by my wip branches since 6.4-rc5, but support is not yet in mainline as it depends on the usb dwc3 multiport series

<HdkR> jhovold: Interesting. I'll give it a flip and see if the problem doesn't appear the next few times i overheat the laptop

<martiert> cenunix[m]: just add the rest of the modules I needed to get a full nixos running on my x13s. I also have the part where I copy the dtb from the kernel during building which I saw you were missing. If you're interested that part is in: https://github.com/martiert/nixos-module/blob/main/machines/sc8280xp/default.nix it's basically just adding an extraFiles entry to the
<martiert> boot.loader.grub entry.
