<Soupborsh> <apritzel> "soupborsh: I guess you have some..." <- Hello, thank you for help. Yes I dumped whole emmc and extracted some parts using https://github.com/mchubby/pb740-inkpad-notes. I do no know how exactly to hack it, but most importantly I cannot get anything to boot using FEL after jumping to FEL nothing new appears on UART serial console.
<Soupborsh> I found something interesting, but it is more high level than booting. When I enter update mode I get this very detailed mainly kernel log:

<loki666> apritzel : regulator-ramp-delay fixed the crashes for good
<loki666> Even with 1.5Ghz. I played gzdoom on schedutil governor with any crashes
<loki666> Where before, just enabling it was an instant crash
<loki666> ^without any crashes

<apritzel> loki666: wohoo! amazing! You now know the drill with the patch, don't you? ;-)
<apritzel> so you can bring back the 1.5GHz OPP in your current patch? For v2?
<apritzel> btw: keep the patches definitely separate
warpme has joined #linux-sunxi
<loki666> Yes I asked to drop the previous as it wasn't a fix at all
<loki666> Already sent the new patch, but in a haste I forgot to give context... Do you think this could still make it for 6
<loki666> For 6.13 as it's a critical bug
<apritzel> yes, it's a fix, and those can (and should) go in anytime
<apritzel> regardless: it's a DT fix, so the kernel releases are less important anyway. For instance it will appear in U-Boot automatically now, and if you boot with $fdtcontroladdr, you will get the fix even for older kernels
<loki666> I'm not sure we have that I have that in the extlinux.conf
<loki666> I'll also submit a patch for the opp to enable 1.3Ghz. BSP is using it and there is gap between 1.2 and 1.4
warpme has quit [Ping timeout: 480 seconds]
<apritzel> btw: I think you should not easily abandon your old patch. It would be good to see where the original voltage levels came from, b/c I thought there would be from Anbernic already

<apritzel> and I am not sure if we need all those OPPs, really. Would be good to hear some opinions/experiences about this: is there any best practise here?
<loki666> Tokyovigilante worked on the opp table before
