<apritzel> junari: this value does not look like SCTLR, but like an ARM instruction instead ("msr CPSR_c, r1"), which smells like you are missing the patch to disable the I cache:
<apritzel> please test this and comment on this patch, so that it can be merged

<freemangordon> HI, I have troubles with sound on some old A33 tablet, codec etc is probed, there is sound card but no sound. In fex I have audio_pa_ctrl = port:PH09<1><default><default><0>, and in board DTS there is enable-gpios = <&pio 7 9 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH>; /* PH9 */ for speaker-amplifier node.
<freemangordon> what else could I look for?
<freemangordon> this is on 6.12.y

<wens> have you checked all your mixer controls?
<freemangordon> yes
<wens> is there sound if you use a headphone?
<freemangordon> no
<freemangordon> dapms in /sys/kernel/debug/asoc are On
<freemangordon> at least those I think are related
<wens> I'd still go over all the volume and mute controls
<freemangordon> already did
<freemangordon> to no use
<freemangordon> it is like speaker amplifier if off, despite gpio being hi
<freemangordon> *is off
<wens> have you tried reversing the gpio polarity?
<freemangordon> no
<freemangordon> lemme try
<wens> you can also read back the gpio status from /sys/kernel/debug/gpios during playback to check that the gpio is toggled correctly
<freemangordon> it is toggled properly
<freemangordon> already checked
<freemangordon> no playback -> lo, playback -> hi
<freemangordon> lets try to mark it GPIO_ACIVE_LOW in board dts
<freemangordon> if that does not help, will disassemble it and will try to check with a scope what's going on
<freemangordon> iirc with BSP kernel there was sound
<freemangordon> no luck with inverted polarity
<freemangordon> hmm, seems uart3 uses the PH9 pin too

<apritzel> macromorgan_, wens: what's the status of this new AXP dual-PMIC fix? It looks like it's not ready for 6.13? I would then send a revert of my original patch
