<f00b4r0>
jow: testing your backport branch, I notice one issue in the main import system: if I dump a conf with several peers, only the last one is imported.
<f00b4r0>
oh, it's even worse. I just tried again with the last peer having no endpoint configured, the system mangled the endpoint of the penultimate peer with the pubkey and allowed IPs of the last.
<f00b4r0>
another nit: for the peer import, the popup says "import as peer", which is explicit, but the button shows "Import peer configuration" where I would expect to be able to dump a lone [Peer] section and have it imported, which is not possible as we've seen before.
<f00b4r0>
(that feature - actual peer import - would be a nice-to-have too btw :)
<SlimeyX>
can someone test this, if select "Make /var persistent" built in realtime graphs do not work
<stintel>
SlimeyX: move tmp dir to /tmp
<SlimeyX>
is that all? :P
<stintel>
jffs2 doesn't support some feature the realtime graphs use
<stintel>
but that shouldn't write in /var anyway, move it to /tmp or /run
<SlimeyX>
k wasnt sure if i had done something odd or not
<stintel>
ah right, we don't have /run
<stintel>
I spent some time working on /run, moving whatever non-standard stuff we do during boot to a non-FHS path, but due to lack of proper understanding of all we do in procd I gave up
<stintel>
but we should really introduce /run as that's what every other systemd/distro has these days
<stintel>
sure can symlink it but meh why cut corners when we're working on it anway
