It's quite a good idea to actually put the cache alignment in for each target, because it's something that is a known value for those targets. But it should probably be put into it's own config value, propbably in an included file, that gets appended to KERNEL_CFLAGS?

iirc, the compile makes a good best-guess at an appropriate alignment, based on what it's been told to target. But that's not very granular, and compilers don't know the details of every single hardware platform, so explicitly putting in an alignment for each target will probably see an improvement.

well, more like got around the vendor restricting ssh access to their fw image, to invoke commands directly via ssh

mrkiko: I have no clue. It doesn't recover from bootloops. It might be as simple as checking the integrity of the 'kernel' UBI volume, and thst's it
