<supae_> tobhe: I was hoping to install release 7.4 but I also tried a snapshot. Right now, I'm having a weird network issue, though. I've tested it on firmwares 13.3/13.5, both snapshot and 7.4 release, and it still happens. I want to note that I successfully installed OpenBSD snapshot yesterday, and I uninstalled it to try to use 7.4 release. Since then, during install OpenBSD can't find my network firmware at all. I've consistently been get
<supae_> pwfm0 at pci1 dev 0 function 0 "Broadcom BCM4387" rev 0x07: msi
<supae_> vendor "Broadcom", unknown product 0x5f71 (class network subclass miscellaneous, rev 0x07) at pci1 dev 0 function 1 not configured
<supae_> bwfm0: failed loadfirmware of file apple-bwfm/brcmfmac4387c2-pcie.apple,hokkaido.bin

<supae> oh damn I patched it myself somehow! the issue is in how install.md works, the line "if mount -o ro /dev/sd0l /mnt2 2>/dev/null; then" makes an assumption that the EFI partition will be on sd0l while mine was on sd0m
<supae> I believe it was on /dev/sd0m due to me making a blank 60GB APFS container, so that I could just tell OpenBSD to use my whole disk without it actually taking up the whole disk. I could be wrong though lol, but maybe that needs a patch?

<tobhe> hm interesting. Yeah we might need a better heuristic there to detect the ESP
<tobhe> good to know that the installation worked
