i installed snapd and the basic hello-world snap, but the command isn't accessible from terminal. i've narrowed the problem down to most likely being caused by apparmor. however, i haven't figured out how to enable it. when i run aa-enabled, i get the message "No - not available on this system." does asahi just not support apparmor?

I don't think we compile apparmor into the default kernel, no

<JayFoxRox[m]>
- wether it's capable as a daily driver probably depends on what you depend on.
<JayFoxRox[m]>
personally, when I get my M1 machine (soon), I'll slap asahi on it, but I don't expect to use it much until software like Blender works on the GPU.
<JayFoxRox[m]>
I'll also need to see functional speakers, microphone and webcam for meetings.

where do things stand with Asahi on the M2 Air?
<balrog>
(also why hasn't apple yet exposed nested virtualization in their macOS APIs? or is it something else)
<j`ey>
m2 air pretty much feature parity with m1

does windows support nested virtualization on arm64?
<maz>
I don't really see how we can answer macos feature questions here...

So about AppArmor, could I compile a custom kernel with support for that? There are some instructions on the arch wiki
