so I just switched over to asahi-edge and plasma-wayland-session on my M1 Pro MBP 14". Apps and everything else has the correct scaling (200%) except the taskbar and cursor appear to be at 400%. Anyone know where the setting is for this? Adjusting the scaling in Display Configuration to 100% makes everything small (as one would expect - but not

I believe the coordinate system is different between X and Wayland and that's why switching between them ends up with things being the wrong size

I'm not so sure about the cursor though, there was some weirdness there. playing with the cursor size settings and logging out and in again might help.

yeah, makes sense. I think there's some caching with the cursor that makes it weird until you log out/in again

fwiw I *think* I resized my cursor size to be roughly 2x whatever the default was under X11, when I first installed asahi, so if I'd never done that I suppose it would've been the correct size under wayland
