so in short, the process for updating "texlive" (not texlive_core) is the following: do the normal upgrading work, then install at least the "texlive" main package, run the perl command to regenerate subpackageInfos, and hope that not too much changed (ideally nothing at all). Otherwise you have to touch the main recipe and rebuild it again.
