11:30 <repetitivestrain> basically, when trying to lock the looper of another window that is having messages sent to it very often

11:31 <repetitivestrain> LockLooper sometimes hangs on _kern_acquire_sem_etc called by BLooper::_LockComplete

11:31 <repetitivestrain> and during that hang, nothing else can successfully lock that looper either

11:32 <repetitivestrain> they hang on BLocker::AcquireLock and not BLooper::_LockComplete

11:32 <repetitivestrain> so this could be a bug in haiku

11:32 <repetitivestrain> any ideas? am i missing something obvious here? thanks in advance
