<clover[m]> Sorry you are still having issues. Not sure I have any other ideas.
<agl> clover[m]: It seems the Vcc of the panel will be switchted off.
<agl> clover[m]: In the dmesg at 31 seconds ist the panel power disabling!
<clover[m]> Saying it over and over doesn't help me to help you

<agl> clover[m]: I have it. I have updated the newest x13s-firmware and x13s-touchscreen-udev from github.com/ironrobin/x13-alarm. Now this lines I write from the x13s unter X11 and hexchat.
<agl> clover[m]: The x13s-firmware was the reason.
<clover[m]> So your install is fixed?
<agl> yes
<agl> all works :)
<agl> the x13s-firmware was old.

<steev> with a vanilla kernel, it probably still is, when using his 6.9+ wip branches, it does not - https://github.com/jhovold/linux/commit/63ec22450071b63aee8b14bd41b05f637aad0a66

<vadikas[m]> my bluetooth daemons stops recognising bluetooth controler since update to 6.9.1, firmware and kernel driver looks to be in place. does anybody else suffer from it?
<vadikas[m]> [ 2.679451] Bluetooth: hci0: Frame reassembly failed (-84)... (full message at <https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/v3/download/matrix.org/GfFGxEwWBOzbcJCfTrVbunHs>)
<travmurav[m]> does it have the mac set?
<vadikas[m]> travmurav[m]: no, but now it works
<vadikas[m]> setting address helped
<travmurav[m]> bt adapter will not work until a valid mac is set since the recent update
<vadikas[m]> I see, thank you

<Nios34[m]> Hi! Does modem work with Linux on Snapdragon 7c gen 2?
possiblemeatball1 has joined #aarch64-laptops
<Jasper[m]> iirc it's not much different from normal 7c? @travmurav any idea if it works?
<travmurav[m]> Jasper: William Goodspeed it should be trivial to bring up but no one tried
<travmurav[m]> (I don't have the hw with cellular, woud've brought it up already)
<travmurav[m]> should be exactly the same as on phones
<Nios34[m]> Hum, could you give me a pointer for that? I did back up all the drivers but I am not sure there's one for modem
<travmurav[m]> just need MM built with qcom-soc and maybe mess with the network stuff a bit
<travmurav[m]> I think MM should start talking to the modem immediately at least as soon as proper fw is loaded, qmi channel is qrtr I think
<travmurav[m]> probably want to start from booting the modem with full firmware and using qmicli to talk to it
<travmurav[m]> what device are you looking at?
<Jasper[m]> If I had to guess the Book Go
<travmurav[m]> but I guess qmi should just work and data channel would need ipa to be enabled, dunno if there would be some extra fun or if it will jsut work
<travmurav[m]> hm I guess there should be an ipa fw blob somewhere I guess -_-
<Nios34[m]> Yeah, Galaxy Book Go
<travmurav[m]> bruh the blob is called ipa_fws.elf not .mbn so I didn't see it last time -_-
<travmurav[m]> William Goodspeed: so yeah, try to boot the modem cpu with full firmware, talk to it via qmicli, if it works, can try startimg MM and seeing if it detects it. then for data probably just need to add this: https://elixir.bootlin.com/linux/latest/source/arch/arm64/boot/dts/qcom/qcm6490-fairphone-fp5.dts#L549
<travmurav[m]> and that file is in windows install with elf extension instead of mbn
<travmurav[m]> in the qcipa7180 driver dir
<Nios34[m]> Lemme see uh
<Nios34[m]> Yeah, found that
<Nios34[m]> Are .mbt and .elf ones the same thing or they are actually different format
<travmurav[m]> mdt is how qcom names elf
<travmurav[m]> well I guess there are split and unified ones
<Nios34[m]> bruh, so just like json called jsn
<Nios34[m]> weird
<travmurav[m]> they have mbn and mdt+b1,b2... so I guess that elf would be more correct to name mbn, tho in your case you probably just don't rename it and use however it's called in the firmware-name
<travmurav[m]> since that's what we do for other blobs anyway
<travmurav[m]> i.e. modem.mbn vs qcmpss7180.mbn
<travmurav[m]> first one would be usual for android but second one is for windows
<travmurav[m]> the name of the file doesn't really matter anyawy
